Curriculum Vitae

In 2025, I received my Habilitation in Philosophy from Freie Universität Berlin

Since June 2021, I am Principal Investigator of the junior research group [Nachwuchsforschergruppe] „Democratic Hope“. The group is funded by a Freigeist-Fellowship (awarded by the Volkswagen-Stiftung) and based at the Department of Philosophy, Freie Universität Berlin.

From 2018-21 I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Normative Orders Research Centre at Goethe University Frankfurt/Main, affiliated with the Chair of Political Theory and Philososophy (Prof Rainer Forst).

In 2017/18, I was a postdoctoral fellow with the Centre for Advanced Studies Justitia Amplificata at Goethe University Frankfurt/Main.

I received my PhD in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science (Department of Government) in 2017. My thesis was supervised by Prof Katrin Flikschuh.

In 2015, I spent some time as a visiting graduate student at the University of Toronto’s Philosophy Department (invited by Arthur Ripstein).

I graduated with an MPhil in Political Theory (with Distinction) from the University of Oxford in 2013.

As an undergraduate, I studied Political Science (BA) at Freie Universität Berlin.
